Hacker Boy was very, very naughty. At the last minute, he turned what I thought was a quiet dinner at his house into an impromptu surprise party for me — I’ve never had one! It worked, I didn’t suspect a thing, and if you were left out, I’m absolutely positive it was because of the quick ‘n dirty nature of the whole, cupcake-laden, absinthe-drenched ambush.
I usually spend my birthdays alone, or try to leave town. The last time I had a party for my birthday, or celebration of any kind, was in 2002 at the SRL shop. The shop was packed; and I had the *extreme* honor of (then) being the most recent person to have their birthday party at SRL since William S. Burroughs.
I feel deeply loved, appreciated and fortified for another year of spreading the love, sex-positivity and silliness. And I’m blown away that people actually sent me stuff from my wishlist — *thank you*. The presents mean SO much, you have no idea. I’m heeding requests to keep some of the wishlist thank you’s anonymous, so I am doing so across the board. Though, I will be taking a sexy photo or two with the goods (and Hacker Boy will endlessly tease me for being a 2.0 camgirl…)
