In Should Apple allow English porn iPad app? it looks like the app store is set to run The Sun (UK) and all its ‘page 3’ girls in all their glory as an app (while US fashion magazines are calling their censored app store version “the Iran edition”). * Yesterday Mother Jones got pwn3d big time. The notoriously left-leaning magazine was right-wing astroturfed when they ran an article that was full-on anti-porn, conservative Christian, far-right FOX News propaganda — and the writer swallowed it whole in a show of some of the poorest journalism I’ve ever seen. No fact checking is to be found in Have the Feds Gone Soft on Porn?, just regurgitated manufactured opinion. It’s exactly as if they’d run a sizable article reporting on the horrors and “facts” of unborn children torture-killed by Planned Parenthood, with “data according to” people from National Right to Life.
