I took a day off from the computer to see friends at the incredible Maker Faire yesterday, and I got to meet lots of cool people. had a shopping accident in the craft tents, where I spent a lot of money at Last of A Dying Breed (Gun Hoops, Silver Knuckle Necklace, Mini Cuff Anklet; Chriso bought me the Naughty Nurse clips + ring). I spent some cash, but I’d rather give my money to the Bazaar Bizarre than the mall. There were lots of cool things I didn’t buy, either because they were out of my price range or above my craft tolerance threshold — but if I were the type of girl to go for cross-stitching or latch-hook rugging, I’d definitely blow my savings on the stuff from Anezka Handmade, like the Topless Dayna latchook kit or the “go fuck yourself – hearts” cross-stitch kit. Awww!
