Month: June 2006

i just found out one of my oldest and dearest friends (and one of my first female lovers) just killed herself. oh god. update: okay, talking to friends I haven’t spoken with in years and making plans for friday’s memorial. not crying and shaking so much anymore; going out to see the SFSI crew later…

Friend Scott Beale took terrific action photos yesterday, as always — including this favorite (above) and this moment of Eddie and I showing our vloggy feelings for old media. I’ll do the rest of my video updates to this post at Metblogs and visit my album for final photo updates later tonight. Lots of you…

At least, that’s my goal — working on four books this week, it was nice to get out with friends last night! Even if since last friday I’ve been interviewed on camera almost every night (tomorrow being the exception, where *I* interview people at RoboGames for GETV)… I’ll collapse in a pile of lipgloss, hairpins…

Snip: “Previous research indicated men are more aroused by erotic images than women, so Anokhin and his colleagues expected women to respond with lower levels of brain activity compared to men. “‘But that was not the case,’ Anokhin said. ‘Women have responses as…
