So Google is a brunette and Firefox is a blonde?

The Firefox blonde accompanies the article Report Looks At Vulnerable Web Browsers. The Google brunette is the lede photo for Google Adds Link To Privacy Policy. What are they trying to tell us?

I can totally see Google as a topheavy brunette, sure. But I just don’t feel in my heart of hearts (and other parts) that Firefox is a blonde. Hello, Firefox is definitely a redhead. 1. Sure, Firefox should definitely get the redhead treatment – or at least henna!

For the Apple Air, I have to remark, WTF? If I were to envision Apple as a female, I’d have to say that I’d first think of a mature, attractive executive-type woman in a turtleneck. She’s been around for a while, had her heart broken a few times, but still is on top of everything. She knows what she wants, is comfortable with her body, and will make your bedroom ROCK! And the next day, she’ll get right back to work… though not without a few secret smiles.

  2. Even if it is an ad-riddled quasi-blog, I’m kind of ashamed to be from Ontario right now. I consider myself to be sex-positive and a feminist, so I have to say: What the fuck do these women have to do with the stories? It looks like a 12-year-old boy had too much fun in Photoshop.

  3. I think that I agree with you about Firefox….just doesn’t strike me as blonde. I also thought redhead – I mean after all – Fire = red and Fox = red….Plus – redheads rock!
