I’m not a particularly craft-focused girl (I prefer machinery) but when a reader sent me this fabric from an Etsy seller, I had to share my delight. Our reader domesticat writes,
There’s an etsy seller — obviousart, in Oregon — who got a contract to do some line art for a condom distribution company. No idea which one. She retained the rights to her drawings afterward, and has made them available on fabric. Her etsy shop has the fabric, plus a pair of boxers made from the fabric. It’s also available directly from Spoonflower.
I love this. It makes me laugh. There’s almost no quilt fabric out there that isn’t completely G-rated, and I love that it’s just bright and sunny and delightful. This fabric’s going in the quilt I’m making for myself — I’ve joked that it’s great to have a cheatsheet that keeps you warm.
I don’t think it’s same thing, but it reminds me of these durex ads, which are just as awesome:

That’s so tote bag material.
Now that makes me want to learn how to sew! :-)
Wondering what I should make with it first. It’d be cool hidden inside of something, like a pocket lining maybe.
