- Sexual transmission of an insect-borne disease? Only when a biologist has unprotected sex after a trip to Senegal and accidentally makes virological history: Sex After a Field Trip Yields Scientific First (news.sciencemag.org, thanks B!)
- The eco-sex craze isn’t stopping anytime soon, and that’s fine by us if we get an excuse to ogle hotties in lingerie – even better when brought to us by a sexy pin-up of a blogger: My Underwear is Green: How to Buy Eco-Fashionable Lingerie (The Lingerie Addict, via Babeland Seattle)
- One of my favorite reads in a long while is this interview with sex blogging icon Bacchus, with his observations on ten years of sex blogging, the weirdest sex fetishes he’s encountered online, the post that upset his readers the most and much more: Eros Blog Interview (atrocidades.com; it’s missing this link to his ‘most disturbing’ post)
- And then one day, the Porn Fairy came and made it all better. But seriously, I’m very happy I discovered this blog on the economics of sex and its controversial new post, Free Porn Lowers Rape Rates (Dollars and Sex | Big Think)

Photo by Christian Kettiger – warning browser resize warning (but nice galleries).
I actually have those panties: they’re Agent Provocateur. My birthday gift last year!
And of course the comments of the “porn lowers rape rates” article are full of straw-grasping, because that cannot POSSIBLY be the case, and BDSM-hate, because…well, just because. >.>
On a bit of a tangent, thanks for adding Christian Kettiger to my list of favoured photographers. I’m not sure if that underwear in the picture is *actually* eco-friendly, but I think it is at least in spirit, by virtue of leaving bits of it out, and making it scantier than it would be otherwise. Wins my vote, anyway.
When I saw that headline, I got my hopes up for something more like this from the “Why Not to Have Sex With Robots” article: http://www.sciencenewsblog.com/blog/309111
Perhaps our sex toys are indifferent to our pleasure, and that’s just the way we like it.
(at least until we get robots past the uncanny valley)
Thank you mentioning my blog!
